When this will be posted, I will be enjoying my Sunday Morning Coffee with a group of girlfriends who are spending a weekend together at a beautiful seaside home. Hard working women and mothers, who will be spending two days, relaxing, chatting, eating, and feeling the healing power of laughter. It takes a lot to clear our schedules and co-ordinate, but it is so worth it.

Love this story that comes out a Junior Achievement Project. Recognizing a need, planning workshops, and providing step by step documentation sounds like a winning project that these two Lunenburg County teenagers came up with. Read all about it on the Lighthouse Now website or pick up a copy of this weeks paper.
Tech Teens is in high demand. Other than the free workshops planned or taking place at seniors’ complexes, its hosting a public training event for golden-agers March 1 at the community college in Bridgewater from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A reporting team from CNN is in Cape Breton today interviewing tourism marketers, legal professionals and local people in the wake of a wildly popular website encouraging Americans to move to the island if Donald Trump becomes U.S. president.

There’s nothing about the fact that it looks like Donald Trump may win the Republican Nomination in the US Presidential race, that thrills me. In fact, it bothers me immensely. But, I can’t say enough about the way Cape Breton has turned a satirical website called “CB if Donald Trump wins“, into a tourism launching pad. Destination Cape Breton recognized the potential immediately and brought seasonal workers early to answer questions and build a section geared towards any inquiries coming from this. The fact that CNN sent a crew to Cape Breton this week and filmed a spot, is amazing. From listening to various interviews on this, I know they are also focused on the potential tourist traffic it may draw. From a joke straight to seizing an opportunity, that’s Nova Scotia spirit right there. I love it!
