This was without a doubt, one of my favourite stories this week. I love it when a group wins…especially a hard working group like the Boilermakers Local trade union of Come by Chance. I mean c’mon…are there plans yet to make a movie about this? Just imagine what this win is going to mean for this community…wow!
Film series offers an alternative to standard blockbusters
Did you know we have a Lunenburg County Film Series Association? They bring critically acclaimed movies here that otherwise would most likely never be seen in a small town like ours. What a wonderful service they provide to film lovers in the community, and they also provide a bursary each year to a student interested in studying film, television or theatre. Love this!
