Sunday mornings I usually take some time to read stories I may not have time for through the week. I plan to share some of my favourite stories here so that you might catch up on them as you enjoy a Sunday Morning Coffee!
How to Simply Embrace Beginnings and Endings – Be More with Less
This year has a lot of new chapters for me and several of my friends. Topping the list are the changes with my two oldest, as they turn 18 next week, and graduate this June. ( I have twins…one boy/one girl) I appreciate this article’s comments on “being open to letting things unfold…”. I am excited for my kids and what their “next chapter” might look like, but have a lot of mixed emotions around it too.
Beginnings…endings…families…career…so much change sometimes, but I think if we just let ourselves feel all the “feelings”, talk it through with girlfriends or confidantes and remember it’s all part of our journey…we’ll be OK.
If that doesn’t work, I’m going the tequila route. 😉
Beginnings are beautiful. Starting something new offers excitement, and opportunity for change, but often saying hello to the new, means saying goodbye to what you know.

Wine and Chocolate at the Winery
Petite Riviere Vineyards
Can I confess something? I don’t like going out for Valentine’s Day. After almost 20 years of marriage, and a busy household, I like nothing more than someone else doing the cooking, but can’t stand the crowds and “forced” feel to going out on that specific day. That’s just me. But a Saturday, Wine and Chocolate event to help break up the middle of February….that I can get behind!
From the Petite Riviere Vineyards Facebook Event page…Try something different this Valentine’s Day weekend!
Take your sweetheart on a romantic venture to Petite Riviere Vineyards and learn about the art of wine and chocolate pairing with our wines and Rousseau Chocolatier handmade chocolates.
Bonus: it’s FREE!
Try five different Petite Riviere wines paired with five Rousseau chocolates. The tasting is drop-in style, stop by anytime between 12-4pm on Saturday, February 13.
The Petite Riviere Wine Shop will be open for business, so you can pick up your favourite wine or cider to take home!
Ummm…yes please! I’m hoping to catch this with a girlfriend or two. My husband would be really happy if I brought home a bottle of wine/cider…pour him a glass while he watches Hockey Night in Canada…and just tell him all about the good time I had. That’s our kind of romance. 😉 xo
What could be so exciting about a Saturday afternoon trip to the winery in the middle of Winter? Our complementary Wine & Chocolate tasting event! Need we say more?
