Sunday mornings I usually take time to catch up on stories I may not have time to read through the week. I thought I would share some that caught my eye this week, and thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee too!
Let Go of These 10 Items to Jumpstart Decluttering
Every spring I get a strong decluttering urge. My daughter has moved back home from living in the city for the past school year, and all her boxes and bags are still sitting in my entry as I’m hoping she and I will have time to clean out her room before we start piling stuff back in. (and I want to paint it…but that’s another story) Anyway, every year decluttering and getting rid of “stuff” is on my to-do list. I can just imagine the calm I would feel if every room in the house was dealt with and just waiting for us to enjoy and relax. I spend a lot of time when I am home alone or working in the kitchen listening to podcasts so I was really excited when I read that Lighthouse Now is producing a podcast based on local stories. You Could Live Here! 1020 Conquerall Mills Road, Conquerall Mills Nova Scotia
Six minutes to town, a walk to the Fancy Lake Public Swimming Beach, and probably around 15 minutes or less to beautiful Risser’s Beach, is just the start of the appeal of this beautiful property. A three bedroom, 2- bath home that has been redesigned and renovated with the popular kitchen, living room open concept. Did I mention the 2 heat pumps AND an efficient wood stove in the family room. Air conditioning in the summer and cozy in the fall and winter! You can see in the video how open and bright the rooms are….including the family room…which I love! What a great way to start the summer with the kids….walking to the lake for a swim in the evening, then hanging out in the spacious backyard playing catch or blowing bubbles.
