This story just made my whole day! What a terrific idea, fulfilling a need they saw, and honestly those little free libraries are just so cute. Good job girls!!!

Though she be but little, she is fierce. The words of Shakespeare could be used to describe the young women who visited Mahone Bay council last week armed with an idea and an ambitious presentation. The girls youth group at St. James Church wants to build Little Free Libraries around Mahone Bay. The girls made a presentation to council that included actors and even audience plants to help highlight their big idea.

WestJet Loses Dog After Putting It On Wrong Flight

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending and after all the negative press some airlines have been receiving lately, I am really impressed with how WestJet stepped up and helped out here. Welcome home Cooper! 🙂

An east coast dog that went missing in Ontario for nearly two days after being placed on a wrong flight has been found. The dog’s owners say Cooper — a golden Labradoodle — was supposed to be flown on a WestJet flight from Halifax to Deer Lake, N.L., on Wednesday to stay with family while they headed to Jamaica for a wedding.
