Her Grade 6 class was asked to do a project about a great Canadian. So she picked Ryan Reynolds

I heard Dani and her father interviewed on CBC Radio Thursday morning, and it was such a fun story.

Danica Scott, who goes by Dani, was recently given an assignment at Chester Area Middle School to create a class presentation on Canada’s heritage or the life of a Canadian who has done something great for the country.

Unbeknownst to her parents and teachers, she chose Reynolds.

U.S. President Joe Biden given Maritime-made Peace by Chocolate bar during visit to Ottawa

A lovely gesture by Elizabeth May to give US President Joe Biden a Peace by Chocolate bar during his visit to Ottawa last week. Based in Antigonish, N.S., Peace by Chocolate was founded by the Hadhad family, who fled their home in war-torn Damascus in 2012. With the support of the people of Antigonish and the province of Nova Scotia, they rebuilt their chocolate company, which is now shared with people all over the world.
