Sunday Morning Coffee

Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week.  I thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.

When life gives you lemons: How an N.S. bakery got — and got rid of — a heap of sour fruit

This story is still making me smile. Laura Mulrooney, who occasionally writes a Bread is Life column for Simple Local Life, shares a weekly Sunday story/sermon on her personal facebook page. This one caught the attention of someone CBC, and now more people can enjoy this delight little winter delight. 🙂

7 simple ways to read more this year

After a few years/decade of not spending much time reading (which I love) I set a goal to read 12 books last year and actually read 14! I have set a goal to read 20 books in 2022 and already have my first one down. 🙂

This article is a few years old, but the concepts remain the same. I have scheduled reading time in the evening after supper/clean up, which works well in the fall and winter and also try to always take a book with me in the car, to appointments etc.

Are you trying to read more this year? Do you set a reading goal?
