Sunday mornings I usually take time to catch up on stories I may not have time to read through the week. Thought I would share some that caught my eye this week, maybe you will enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.
Atlantic Fashion Week highlights 11-year-old Nova Scotia designer – Nova Scotia – CBC News
I love all of this. Keilana herself for being true to herself and what she likes, her mother for supporting her through this, and Atlantic Fashion Week for featuring KeiKaiKoa’s line. What an inspiration!
Keilana Munden sports a purple-patterned hoodie featuring an image of her family’s goldendoodle, a design she created after realizing she couldn’t find anything she liked while back-to-school shopping. “Everyone at school had the same thing and I wanted something unique,” she says.

LighthouseNow: Who wants to move to Lunenburg County?

When I heard about this project I knew it was going to be a winner. Besides the crisscrossing of the country, the Boler itself is very eye-catching and I can see it generating a lot of attention. NowLunenburg County continues to do some amazing work with their latest focus being a growth strategy and to continue to build a path for a better future. Some pretty great work being done here.
When Canada celebrates its 150th birthday next summer, Tina Hennigar will be crisscrossing the country in a 1976 Boler trailer with images of life in Lunenburg County adorning its exterior. As coordinator for NOW Lunenburg County, her mission is to showcase the lifestyle and opportunities the county offers to those who might want to make it their home. “The whole purpose of having this camper is that I can have conversations with people around the country,” said Hennigar.
