Sunday mornings I usually take time to catch up on stories I may not have time to read through the week. Thought I would share some that caught my eye this week, maybe you will enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.
As season ends, Glenora Inn and Distillery drinks to a ‘banner year’
Another fantastic story linking growth in tourism to our ever-growing market of craft breweries, wineries and now distilleries. This story makes me definitely want to add a visit to Glenora Inn to my Summer 2017 bucket list.
Business thrives with the publicity surrounding new golf courses in the area, the Cape Breton If Trump Winstourism campaign and the Chase the Ace contest in nearby Inverness.

N.S. picks annual Christmas tree to thank Boston for aid after Halifax Explosion
I love this story every year. This year the tree selected to thank Boston comes from Cape Breton. I have a few times watched the TV broadcast from Boston when they light the tree…it’s pretty special and full of Nova Scotia hospitality.

You Could Live Here! 1213 Lower Branch Road, Branch Lahave, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia
I love older homes, and this one has some character. A mud room with a wood stove, new windows, 2.5 acres of land, and only 10 minutes to town….this is a good price for a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom charming homestead.
