Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week. I thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.

Syrian tailor stitching together a future on the South Shore
I’ve been following Rezan’s story since he came to Mahone Bay 3 1/2 years ago with the support of the Mahone Bay and Area Refugee Sponsorship Group. Anna Shoub, The Hat Junkie, had first hired Rezan, shortly after he arrived, to work in her studio, and even ran a gofundme campaign to purchase sewing machines for Rezan.
To see how far he’s come in a relatively short time is beyond impressive. This is the kind of support and results the province needs. Go visit Rezan at the South Shore Centre (Bridgewater Mall) and check out his mens suits and accessories.

Pretty incredible that two Atlantic provinces made this list…two of our favourites at that. 😉
