Six-figure funding promise boosts newly-formed palliative care/hospice society
It was incredible to see the support at the Equinox Breakfast held last week at Wile’s Lake Farm Market. More incredible was the donation from Elspeth Maclean Wile, along with Mary Ann and Wayne Fulcher, who are contributing a total $150,000 spread over a three-year period to aid palliative care needs in the region. Just remarkable.

Lots of buzz and sightings as a major movie began filming in Lunenburg this past week.
Amblin Partners, the production company co-founded by Steven Spielberg, has announced that filming begins “in Canada this week,” but residents around Chester and Lunenburg are already aware that their historic towns will provide the scenery for the New England-set story about Hildy Good (Weaver), a Massachusetts realtor with ancestral ties to the Salem witches.
