This year has seen a surge of activity around groups, businesses and individuals doing their part to combat the use of plastics in our everyday lives and the waste that it contributes.
It is very encouraging to see the Town of Lunenburg have such an active group, including the local business community, participating in this process. There are not always quick or easy answers, but developing legislation is a major step towards bringing about change.
