Tweet elicits thousands of birthday wishes for 92-year-old Cape Breton man
I saw this tweet when it first went out, and actually wrote down this mans address, planning to send a card. What a tremendous response and lift this must be, for this 92-year old recent widower. Such a small gesture can mean so much.

I didn’t know a lot about orienteering until recently. It sounds seriously fun! Through following Kara Turner’s Facebook feed, I knew her family was quite involved in the sport and had travelled to the Yukon recently. What a great family activity. If you’re wanting to find out more, there is a South Shore Orienteers club you could check out.
