Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week. I thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.
In push to design easy-to-use ropeless traps, Halifax company turns to fishermen
This is encouraging! Including fishermen in the development and design process, and trying to find a solution to the deaths of so many North Atlantic right whales, sounds like a brilliant idea to me. It will be interesting to follow Ashored Innovations and see where this goes.
Overwhelm and Abundance in the Garden
Margaret wrote on her blog this week about overwhelm in the garden. Tis the season. It made me wonder when isn’t it a season of overwhelm when you are raising a family? That shouldn’t be the norm, should it? A relatable, actionable read that will make you think.

116 Princes Inlet Drive, Martin’s Brook, Lunenburg County
The heat was getting to me this week…so I thought…what fun…just to dream for a minute…
It’s hard to decide my favourite feature in this stunning home on over 7 acres of land overlooking the ocean. The library with the wood burning stove….the spacious dining room overlooking the gardens….the balcony to enjoy your morning tea as you watch the sailboats…the possibilities are endless. Of course there are guest quarters, a 2-car garage and beautiful manicured gardens. You must look at the photos and imagine who might be the next resident of the lovely Prince’s Inlet. 🙂
