There’s just something about a Farmers Market held on the Main Street of a town. Community gathering and chatting over coffee and breakfast, enjoying live music and picking up their locally produced produce and goods.  Welcome to the Bridgewater Farmers Market, which operates every Saturday from June to October on King Street in Bridgewater, at the Town Centre Parking Lot.

It’s a family affair for some of the vendors at the Bridgewater Farmers Market ….

There is a wide variety of items at the Bridgewater Farmers Market. You can find homemade jams and pickles, handmade soaps, kimchi, kombucha, homemade dog treats, and more! What a perfect way to start your weekend by grabbing a coffee or breakfast and enjoying some live music.

I didn’t catch the name of these two guys playing the Saturday I stopped in….but they were very talented! 

The market is operated by the Bridgewater Farmers’ Market Association, a non-profit society. All of the vendors live within 30-45 minutes of Bridgewater. Each week you can expect to find vegetables, seasonal fruits, bread and baked goods, condiments, plants & flowers, fresh honey, meat, fish, free range eggs, and more. Getting to chat with your local farmers and producers is one of the benefits of  buying at a local farmers market.

The Bridgewater Farmers Market also runs a popular Food Truck Party each season and has held Christmas Markets in the past.
