“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….everywhere you go…” Are you singing yet…or just sweating and not sleeping? I’m falling somewhere in the middle…a lot of singing but a fair bit of my usual holiday insomnia. But that’s OK…I can sleep in January! 😉 I’m starting to look at the last week or so to go and looking forward to several gatherings we are hosting. I actually really like planning the food and drinks I am going to serve. I like to make a batch of my Homemade Irish Cream, but when it comes to a non-alcoholic drink..and you always need those too….I always use one of my go-to Holiday recipes…Christmas Punch.
Whenever you are hosting a party or even just a few friends, you always want to be sure to offer a nice festive non-alcoholic choice. It makes you a responsible and thoughtful host to have something special prepared and everyone who’s not partaking in an alcoholic beverage is sure to appreciates it. I love this Christmas Punch because the ingredient list is short and simple…but it is really delicious!
- 2 L President's Choice Cranberry Cocktail
- 12 oz Frozen Lemonade (thawed)
- 2 L Lemon-Lime soft-drink
- ½-3/4 cup frozen PC Pomegranate Arils
- Stir cranberry cocktail, lemonade concentrate and the lemon-lime soft drink together in a large pitcher or punch bowl
- Add frozen pomegranate arils
- Sitr to combine
- Add ice
The PC Pomegranate Arils were a part of this years PC Insiders Collection and I think it is one of my favourites! There’s no prep or mess and they are ready to use anytime. A little more convenient than trying to pick up a fresh pomegranate on the day of your party… love that! They make a beautiful festive garnish to Christmas Punch or to sprinkle on your salad or yogurt.
