After a year and a half of testing, we finally launched our line of soy wax candles into the world last December. Within 3 weeks, we had almost completely sold out of our holiday candles and knew this was something we wanted to continue with. Since then, we have started selling at the Lunenburg Farmers Market, several retail locations and of course online. We are so excited to officially launch our 2022 Fall Candle Line, which may be our favourite so far.
Our candles are from 100% soy wax which is non-toxic and cleaner-burning being made with no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants. Soy wax does not give off any harmful byproducts or produce any black soot. We use phthalate free fragrances, cotton wicks and glass jars that we encourage you to recycle and reuse.
It takes months to test and choose candles for each season and the ones we want to add to our permanent line. Making candles is almost therapeutic, but choosing the scent, name and label can keep me up at night. However, it is all worth it when we love the final product and put them out into the world.
Without further ado, we present our 2022 Fall Candle Line!
When we think fall on the South Shore, we can’t help but think of Mahone Bay. Visiting during the incredible Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival & Antique Fair, grabbing our favourite pumpkin drink at The Barn, or strolling through The Teazer and all our favourite shops and restaurants…there’s just something that makes us Fall for Mahone Bay.
Fall for Mahone Bay…offers a cozy and warm feel, perfect for those cooler autumn days.
Scent notes: Warm pumpkin, spices, and a sweet whipped vanilla topping
South Shore Crisp & Cozy Soy Wax Candle… will warm up your home like a cup of Spiced Apple Cider.
Scent Notes: Harvest apple, mixed with a rich blend of cinnamon and nutmeg, with a touch of vanilla.
Drift: to be carried slowly by a current of air or water.
A warm, masculine scent. If you like Mahogany Teakwood, this one’s for you.
Scent Notes: Cedar and oak wood intertwine with warm mahogany, topped with hints of jasmine, rose and lily.
With its cooler temperatures, beautiful colours and the local food and events, that make fall on the South Shore pretty special. After another hot and humid summer, I think its something we are all looking forward to.
You can find our candles at the following retail locations:
