2 tsp dried basil
carrots
1 C Ketchup
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 C molasses
6 strips of bacon
Frozen Peas
A few notes about this weeks meal plan… I’m cooking the ham and using the meat for two meals. One with homemade mac and cheese and one with baked beans. We will have lots of leftovers with those as well.
The Saucy Shrimp and Feta Toss is a family favorite. You can whip that up one night after work….it’s a simple weeknight dinner that’s delicious!
I’m using the peppers…and some carrots and garlic I have…in the Roasted Chicken Dinner meal. I love those one sheet roasted meals. Another quick dinner to assemble and throw in the oven at the end of the day.
With the cost of the groceries and the items I already had, I’m estimating this weeks meal plan to cost around $60.00. Save yourself some money by shopping the sales and making some family dinners. You can do this too. Let me know how you’re making out. Are you a meal planner? Do you shop the sales or just make a list?
