Let’s Eat…at The Grand Banker

With views overlooking the beautiful Lunenburg waterfront, and it’s local and fresh food and drink, The Grand Banker is a favourite among locals and tourists. Wether you’re looking for a bowl of seafood chowder, a burger and fries, or a Nova Scotia beef tenderloin, you can find it all there.

The Grand Banker

Opened and founded in 1996 by Alan Creaser, the business was sold to Adam Bower, who after getting his Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management degree, working as a manager at the prestigious Fairmount Jasper Park Lodge Luxury Resort in Alberta, and 10 years as the Food & Beverage Manager at the Delta Hotels in downtown Halifax, Adam was ready to come back to the South Shore, and take ownership of the place of his first job, where he had worked at 18, as a busboy, server and assistant manager while he was in school.

If you’re looking for lunch on weekday, dinner and drinks with friends on a Friday night, or Sunday Brunch, The Grand Banker is the place to be. It’s warm and cozy atmosphere, filled with nautical stylings, make it the perfect place to enjoy what makes Lunenburg special.

We went to the Grand Banker for the first time last week for our Anniversary.
The food was delicious, our server , ( who is in one of your photos) was fantastic and the view was relaxing.
I am sad that I waited so long to experience this wonderful restaurant.
    I highly recommend it!
