Exciting news this week for Mahone Bay’s acoustic folk/pop artist, Kristen Martell with the announcement that she has been nominated for two Music Nova Scotia awards, Folk Recording and Inspirational Recording of the Year. Kristen returned to making music last year, after a 10 year break, with the release of her album, Coming Home.

Then the pandemic hit and like most artists, Kristen had to pivot as she found new ways to reach people with her songs.
