What is better than ice cream on a hot summer day? Today’s recipe features an ice cream cake that is made with ice cream sandwiches and only takes 5 minutes to throw together. The perfect ice cream sandwich dessert!
Directions
Unwrap 10 or 12 ice cream sandwiches (can be chocolate ice cream sandwiches or traditional vanilla ones, or a combination of both). Lay them side by side in a 13 x 9 pan.
Drizzle a caramel sauce layer to cover the sandwiches completely.
Spread Cool Whip over top evenly. Garnish with crushed Skor bars or drizzled caramel and chocolate sauce. Freeze covered until ready to serve. Enjoy!!
- 10-12 Ice cream sandwiches
- Caramel sundae sauce (in squeeze bottle)
- Cool Whip
- Garnish for top — can be crushed Skor bars or drizzled chocolate and caramel sauce
- Thaw the Cool Whip so it is spreadable.
