Sunday morning I usually grab a coffee and take time to catch-up on some stories I may not have had time to read throughout the week. I thought you might enjoy them with your Sunday morning coffee as well.
These therapy goats are changing people’s lives
A great story about the healing power of animals and our connection with them. Thanks to Kim and Blair Davis for opening their farm up to the public in this way.
MODL Community Hub Engagement Survey
The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL) is exploring the feasibility of developing a Community Hub building in the Osprey Village development.
A Community Hub is a building that provides shared indoor and outdoor spaces and amenities that can be used by community organizations, groups and members. Some of the types of spaces that are being considered include: recreational spaces (i.e. gymnasium, fitness center, outdoor skating rink, playground, etc.), meeting and event spaces, a community garden and kitchen and more!
They are conducting a study to engage with community members to identify what spaces would be the most beneficial, will support the nearby development, and create a place for community enjoyment and gathering. You are invited to participate in a public survey that will gather information to inform this process.
